This is a personal website. It has no accounts, forms, or sign-ups, and I don't sell or share information about visitors. The only data collected is basic, aggregate traffic information through Google Analytics, described below.

Google Analytics

I use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit this site and which pages they read. When you visit, Google Analytics collects information such as:

• Pages viewed and how long you stayed
• The site or search that referred you
• Approximate location (country or city, not your precise location)
• Device type, browser, operating system, and screen size

This information is reported to me in aggregate and isn't used to identify you personally. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. The data is kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.

Google processes this data on my behalf. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to tell new visits from returning ones. They last up to two years unless you delete them. This site sets no other cookies.

Opting out

You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by:

• Installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
• Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings
• Using a browser or extension that blocks tracking scripts

The site works the same either way.

Email

If you email me, I'll use your address and message only to reply. I won't add you to a mailing list or share it with anyone.

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Questions are welcome by email.
